Red Dress Gala i​s our chapter's main philanthropy event. This annual auction benefits women's cardiac care through the Alpha Phi Foundation and the University of Washington Medical Center's Cardiology Division. The Alpha Phi Foundation supports the research, education, and treatment of heart disease, the number one cause of death in the United States. At last year's Red Dress Gala, we raised over $75,000 and our chapter won the regional award for Excellence in Philanthropy at the West Coast Alpha Phi Conference and recieved the Alpha Phi Foundation's Excellence in Philanthropy award at Alpha Phi's 70th biennial convention.
