Sisterhood
Sisterhood and our love for one another are what binds Alpha Phi together. Alpha Phi’s motto, “union hand in hand,” perfectly describes the strong bonds formed in Alpha Phi. We are so honored to be surrounded by a group of such caring, intelligent, and dynamic women. Once you become an Alpha Phi, you join an organization that is more than just a sorority.
Alpha Phis are always planning events together including spring break trips to Cabo, Hawaii, Arizona, California, and many more! Every year, sisterhood events take place somewhere exciting such as Pike Place Market, Bob's Corn and & Pumpkin Farm, and ice-skating rinks. No matter the location, Alpha Phis are always having fun together!
PRESENTATIONS:
One of the most anticipated events for our new members is Presentations. Presentations is a way for Alpha Phi to show off our outstanding new member pledge class and introduce the new members to alumnae and parents. Each girl wears a formal dress as part of a longstanding tradition of the Sigma chapter and is welcomed and introduced by our New Member Educators during the event, followed by a beautiful brunch with their families. This year, we presented an astonishing 38 new members and could not be happier that they are now officially a part of our chapter.
SENIOR WEEK:
Senior week takes place during the end of every school year. Alpha Phi always looks forward to celebrating our seniors and all of their accomplishments. Each senior is assigned a team of three younger members who are responsible for making senior week the best end to the senior’s college experience. Senior’s also have the opportunity to give the younger members some last words of wisdom and give away old Alpha Phi t-shirts at their senior will ceremony. This week is always a great time for our house to reminisce on amazing memories and for the younger members to show their appreciation for the girls they see as role models.
